Start from the Dashboard
Log in to your Discorra account. You'll land on the dashboard, where you can see your usage, recent datasets, and quick workflow options.
Under What would you like to do today?, choose Run a Quick Analysis. This is the fastest way to upload content and generate insight.
You’ll be taken into the Quick Analysis setup wizard. Begin by entering a project name.
Select a workspace. If none exist yet, click + New to create one.
(Optional) Add a project description and any words you'd like Discorra to exclude from the analysis.
When everything looks correct, click Next.
Tip: Choosing the right context
Your chosen context determines which metrics, insights, and recommendations appear in your analysis. For example, Marketing surfaces resonance, urgency, and trust indicators, while Qualitative Research focuses more on thematic clustering.Add Your Content Set
On the next step, give your content set a name. Each set represents a body of text you want to analyze.
Choose whether to Paste content directly into the textbox or Upload content from a file.
Add your text or upload a file. Supported formats include plain text, CSV, and other structured content types.
When you're ready, click Next to review your configuration.
Confirm your project details and content sets. If everything looks correct, click Create & Generate.
Troubleshooting uploads
If a file fails to upload or parse, check that: Your file uses UTF-8 encoding, a valid text column is present, and no single cell contains extremely large blocks of text. If issues continue, try splitting large files or switching to paste-mode.View Your Analysis
Once your project is created, Discorra automatically begins processing your content.
You’ll be taken directly to the full analysis dashboard, where multiple tabs let you explore your data from different perspectives.
Here's what each tab offers:
- Overview — High-level project summary, token counts, key topics, and a quick snapshot of performance or resonance.
- Context Explorer (Concordance/KWIC) — Shows every instance of a word in context, helping you understand how it's used.
- Context Words (Collocates) — Explore word pairings and statistically significant relationships using PMI, logDice, t-score, or LLR.
- Resonance — Measures how strongly your language signals trust, urgency, and narrative emphasis compared to benchmarks.
- Sentiment — Shows polarity, emotional distribution, and the terms driving positive or negative tone.
- Topics — Automatically extracts clusters of meaning to reveal themes, angles, and hidden narratives.
- Readout — A clean, one-page executive summary of insights (ideal for sharing with teams or stakeholders).
- Options — Manage dataset settings, download raw data, update metadata, or recompute the analysis.
